Innovative Development

Bakor Scientific and Technical Centre focuses on development of innovative and competitive ceramic technologies and materials.

All our innovations are based on new types of nanomodified or high-temperature phosphate binding agents.

New developments are aimed at product improvement or implemented upon customer requests or under Government Programs.

Thus, unique radioactive mist trapping filters were developed under the order of Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (USA).

Under Rosatom order, the Company developed highly resistant ceramic refractory materials for nuclear waste vitrification furnaces.

Isostatic filters for turbine blade melting were developed for aircraft engine manufacturers under the order of the Russian Scientific and Research Institute of Aircraft Materials (VIAM) and IBB, Sweden.

For especially aggressive chemical media, the Company designed corundum ceramic products for chemical waste incinerators and high-chromium products for melting of especially aggressive E grade glass under the order of Gyprochim LLC and Stupino Plant of Fibreglass Plastics LLC.

Chromium-corundum and chromium-aluminium-zyrcon materials were developed for basalt heat insulators.

Upon request of Oskol Electrometallurgy Complex OJSC and Casting Pipe Plant, Kazakhstan, high-strength corundum-zyrcon-mullite refractory materials were designed for lining of electrical heating furnaces.

Under the order of Norilsk Nickel OJSC, we developed porous ceramics and porous ceramics based nanomodified ceramic filter elements for disc vacuum filters used in concentrate dehydration and cartridge ceramics for candle filter units. Hundreds of other examples may be given to demonstrate our developments.

Our customers include more than 300 companies and consumers.

 All new developments surpass similar products in terms of basic process parameters and are protected by patents.
